Head of Biosolutions Technical Lead for Africa, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand, UPL
Freddie Denner is Head of Biosolutions Technical Lead for Africa, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand within UPL and directs guidance in terms of the development of bio-control products and bio-solutions. He started his professional career at the Agricultural Research Council (ARC) in 1988, primarily focusing on pathogen epidemiology and disease management of potato. Under his editorship, A Guide for Potato Production in South Africa was developed and published in Afrikaans (2010) and English (2012) respectively. For the past ten years, he has been serving in an authoritative capacity on the research-directive committee for Potato South Africa. Widely renowned for his expertise, he continues to co-operate with the industry and consult with all relevant role-players on a regular basis.
