Portfolio Manager, Citrus Research International
Sean Moore is Portfolio Manager for Integrated Pest Management with Citrus Research International, as well as a Research Associate in the Department of Zoology and Entomology at Rhodes University and a Deputy Director with the Centre for Biological Control in the same department, responsible for the agricultural pests programme. He also founded the biopesticide company, River Bioscience in 2003. His main areas of specialization, apart from citrus entomology, are insect pathology and microbial control of agricultural pests, particularly using insect viruses, and the management of false codling moth.
